Bringing Baby Home: A Parenting and Relationship Program Two-day Workshop Saturday & Sunday, June 23rd and 24th 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Transitioning to parenthood can be one of the most challenging events in a couples’ relationship. However, knowledge is power, and with knowledge comes a new understanding of how you can make bringing your newborn infant home a more enjoyable and shared experience. Designed for both expecting and new parents, the Bringing Baby Home Program™ will provide you with the skills and information to recognize and cope successfully with the normal stressors of becoming a family. The program teaches couples how to:

· Increase friendship in their relationship

· Deal effectively with conflict

· Involve dads in infant care and parenting

· Improve the quality of parent-infant interaction

· Recognize the psychological and emotional needs of their child

“Bringing Baby Home has given us the knowledge and skills to cope constructively with the many changes brought about by the birth of our child. We now have tools and information to help us make this transition easier on everyone – our baby, our relationship….ourselves. Thank you!” – former Bringing Baby Home participant
