Karin has been a practicing massage therapist for 7 years, beginning in a Chiropractic Office her focus has been rehabilitation through therapeutic massage, in combination with other modalities, such as Myofascial cupping, deep tissue Hot Stone massage, and PNF stretching. A graduate of the Grant MacEwan University 2200 hour Massage Therapy Diploma program, Karin’s education is geared toward the science behind massage. Now at Healing Connections Karin is excited to explore the Holistic history of massage therapy, in its many forms.
Karin believes that though we all come in different shapes and sizes the body must be respected; Karin strives to create a safe place for clients to allow themselves, and their bodies, the freedom to heal. Her treatments are client focused, and by listening to the tissue and the client Karin can develop a treatment plan appropriate for the situation or condition.
