Kristian Olsvik
Kristian has studied Kung Fu since the age of 10, but after a serious ankle injury he directed his focus to Qigong, T’ai Chi and Reiki to heal his injury.
After studying locally, Kristian visited the birth place of T’ai Chi, Wudang Mountain. Kristian spent 12 months training intensively in traditional Wudang Taoist internal Kung Fu and Qigong under Master Yuan Xiu Gang, earning his acceptance as a 16th generation disciple.
Later, Kristian journeyed to Kathmandu, Nepal, to study under a Master of Natural Therapy. He spent 18 months under Rahul Bharti, studying Ancient Thai Yoga Massage, Sound Massage, Energy Balancing and teacher training.
“Every single class led to a self-transformation. We were physically prepared by the massage and yoga detoxification program to work with the mind and energy together. Once we started, the floods of tears, thunderous laughter, vivid imagery, and uncontrollable twitching broke our old patterns to help connect our mind with our heart.” – Kristian
Kristian is a Licensed Massage Therapist, certified by the Ancient Massage Foundation as an Ancient Thai Massage practitioner and instructor. Through his membership with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada, he can write receipts for health insurance purposes.

With an extensive background in Kung Fu, Qigong, and T’ai Chi, Kristian’s skills in Ancient Thai Yoga Massage are naturally powerful. The discipline, focus, and benevolence from his training drives his work and creates a unique experience for his patients. His practice can be useful for people who are unable to practice yoga on their own, and it’s greatly beneficial for everyone else who can. I felt refreshed, like I had just done a light yoga session, and had a massage – at the same time. After my first session with Kristian, I’ve already recommended him to teach at my favorite yoga studio.
