What is “Trauma as Medicine?”
Leaning in to our pain, conflict and struggle generates the tools we need to live as wholehearted human beings. What we discover about ourselves in this process is Medicine.
Medicine derived from the Courage to step into the unknown and the Curiosity to contemplate the teachings and lessons of your pain. How – you may ask yourself – does this deepen my experience of humanity and open me to truth?
Trauma as medicine addresses trauma with intention, by bringing conscious awareness to its energy pattern and how it is presently impacting your life. From this vantage point you may question – and listen – to what is needed for transformation.
These program’s and presentations are inspired by my mother’s spirit and her death of homicide in the winter of 95.
