Layna Aschenmeier

Indigenous Mental Health Therapist

Layna Aschenmeier née Tourangeau is a Cree/Michif Iskew (Womxn) from Treaty 8. Their pronouns are: she/her/they.

 

She is an Indigenous Mental Health Therapist with a Master of Social Work degree (MSW, RSW) with twenty-five years of experience working in her field.

 

She strives to support folks to move towards increased balance and wholistic wellness in their lives and to obtain miyo-pimatisiwin - live the “good life.” They have extensive training in body-based, somatic modalities, with a trauma-focused specialty.
