Some books we read. Others meet us at exactly the right moment in our lives and become part of who we are becoming. The Alchemist was one of the top five books at the beginning of my own personal and spiritual journey. Its messages of following the call of your soul, recognizing signs along the way, moving through fear and trusting the unknown stayed with me long after I first read it. Years later, I’m returning to it from a very different place in my journey — and I would love to share that experience with you. Welcome to the first Soul Study at Healing Connections. This is not a traditional book club. Over four weeks, we’ll take an in-depth look at the spiritual messages, symbolism and transformation woven throughout The Alchemist, using Santiago’s journey as an invitation to explore our own. OUR 4-WEEK JOURNEY WEEK 1 — THE CALL What Is Your Personal Legend? Dreams, purpose, courage, synchronicity and recognizing what is calling you. WEEK 2 — THE DETOUR Trusting the Path You Didn’t Plan Setbacks, comfort versus calling, fear of change and discovering meaning within the unexpected. WEEK 3 — THE ALCHEMY Who Must I Become? Intuition, signs, love, attachment, surrender, fear, trust and the transformation that happens along the journey. WEEK 4 — THE TREASURE Returning to Yourself Purpose, integration and discovering what the journey has been asking you to become. THE EXPERIENCE Our intimate circle is limited to 8 participants and will meet for 90–120 minutes each week. Each gathering includes: Opening & Grounding • Discussion of the Week’s Reading • Deeper Reflection & Journaling • Weekly Integration Practice You’ll also receive an original Soul Study: The Alchemist Reflection Workbook, included with your registration and created to support your reflection throughout our four weeks together. Investment: $111 THE BOOK Participants will need to purchase or borrow their own copy of The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
