Ally's interest and passion for massage therapy and alternative health first emerged as she traveled around South East Asia for six months and experimented with deep tissue, Thai and Swedish massage.
In awe of the physical and emotional relief that massage provided, Ally enrolled herself in the 3000 hour Clinical Advanced Massage Therapy program at MaKami College in Edmonton. A graduate of the program, Ally has been working as a Registered Massage Therapist since May 2015 and is an active member of the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta.
Ally is trained in a variety of therapies including Swedish relaxation massage, deep tissue massage, hot stone therapy, lymphatic drainage, sports massage and pre-natal massage.
The more Ally has been able to explore in her practice the more she felt drawn to energy work and holding healing space for her clients. It wasn’t long before she completed all three Reiki levels and started practicing and incorporating energy work into massage sessions.
Ally also has a deep passion for essential oils and enjoys finding just the right oils to integrate into each of her sessions to enhance the overall healing of her clientele.
Ally now offers facial massage and Gua Sha: A relaxing yet effective treatment working on the face, neck and head. This treatment ultimately provides benefits for the entire body, using an organic oil or moisturizer suitable for your skin, Gua Sha tools and massage techniques to drain excess fluid and promote circulation. This treatment can also relieve tension from facial and upper body muscles as well as gently improve fine lines and wrinkles.
