Acupressure & Acupoint
This healing modality is a unique blend of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Reiki, and Japanese Acupressure, designed to restore harmony and balance to the body, mind, and spirit. As an advanced form of Reiki, it channels the infinite flow of “Ki” (Japanese for life force energy) into the meridian system, targeting specific pathways and source points within the body. By applying gentle pressure to traditional acupressure points—or by simply directing energy through key meridians—this technique helps balance your energy flow and dissolves blockages that hinder wellness. It works by calming the nervous system, releasing stagnant energy, and promoting overall harmony and vitality throughout your entire being. When Ki does not flow freely through the meridians, imbalances arise—some areas may hold excess energy, while others may be depleted. This treatment focuses on restoring the natural Yin/Yang balance and reestablishing a harmonious flow of Ki, activating your body’s innate ability to heal, ground, and realign.

Reflexology
Reflexology is a type of massage that involves applying different amounts of pressure to the feet, hands, and ears. It’s based on the theory that these body parts are connected to certain organs and body systems. Reflexology rests on the ancient Chinese belief in qi, or “vital energy.” According to this belief, qi flows through each person. When a person feels stressed, their body blocks qi. This can cause an imbalance in the body that leads to illness. Reflexology aims to keep qi flowing through the body, keeping it balanced and disease free. In Chinese medicine, different body parts correspond with different pressure points on the body. Reflexologists use maps of these points in the feet, hands, and ears to determine where they should apply pressure. They believe their touch sends energy flowing through a person’s body until it reaches the area in need of healing.

Reiki
The word “Reiki” means “mysterious atmosphere, miraculous sign.” It comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy. Reiki is a type of energy healing. According to practitioners, energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or even emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness. Energy medicine aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure. Reiki practitioners believe that improving the flow of energy around the body can enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness. Mikao Usui developed Usui Reiki Ryoho, the most current form of Reiki, in 1922. However, people have practiced Reiki for about 2,500 years. People also refer to Reiki as palm healing or hands-on healing.
